Sometimes my 5 year old drives me nuts with her attachment to things like balloons and cupcakes that I can’t possibly preserve for all eternity. She also creates and says things that turn me into a weepy-eyed wuss-bag when I realize I can’t bottle them up and save them forever. So where better to turn than Tumblr? Whenever there’s a precious moment or piece of ephemera doomed to be swept from the beach of memory by time’s relentless tides, I just snap a picture and post it to a micro-blog! Yay! Say goodbye to the transience of childhood!
This is great. It reminds me on a lot of levels to stop seeing some of my kids things as a big mess and look at them as their imaginative adventure.
I think imaginative is that you think imaginative is what kids play, for I play like kids with dolls who are imaginative to them as they see what IS, where I don’t play as you think for I don’t have dolls, where I think that is what is according to others that is that I may be schizofrenic to others who do not see what IS, for I see what I see according to others like kids.
I think that I may say that I am recognised as a child according to others who think that children live in a faerie land like me, where you don’t know what a faerie land IS that is according to others where faeries live, where I live in a faerie land according to others who think that schizofrenics are maniacs that do not know what is real according to others, where I know what is real just as is according to your daughter who thinks that is strange what you think is marvellous according to others who think I live in a fairytale when they see my house!
